Business Career Day, hosted by The Career Center at Haworth College of Business, will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Bernhard Center from 2 - 6 p.m.
Career Day is free and requires no pre-registration for candidates to attend.
Full Description:
The Career Center, Haworth College of Business will host the annual Career Day on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Bernhard Center on WMU's main campus from 2 - 6 p.m.
Over 100 companies will attend the fair to promote their organizations and recruit WMU candidates for co-op, internship and full-time positions. Some employers will schedule on-campus interviews for Friday, October 19, 2012. Students and alumni should wear professional business attire and bring copies of their resumes.
The following events can help you prepare:
*Resume Critique Night, Oct 1. Sign up to attend a 20-minute critique session. You'll walk away with confidence and specific value-added suggestions.
*Practice Interview Day, Oct 5. Sign up for a 40-minute practice interview. Employer representatives who interview regularly will offer feedback on your strengths as well as suggestions for improvement.
*Get Prepared for Business Career Day, Oct 16. Are you ready for Business Career Day?
5-6:15 pm, Dean's Conference Room, HCoB.
*Prepare your professional introduction and network like a pro. Need an example?
