The Field Placement and Career Social Services Day will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 in the College of Health and Human Services at Western Michigan University from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Full Description:
This event is designed to assist undergraduate and graduate students with developing opportunities to discuss career & internships within the diverse profession of Social Services and Social Justice.
Field Placement and Career Social Services Day is a collaboration between Western Michigan University's School of Social Work and the office of Career and Student Employment Services to assist Social Work, Mental Health, and Social Science related majors with the opportunity to network with area Mental Health and Social Service agencies and employers.
Field Placement and Career Social Services Day is open to ALL WMU students and alumnus. Students majoring in the following areas are strongly encouraged to attend:
Pre- Social Work, Social Work, Counseling Education/Psych, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Family Studies, Public Administration
Students planning on attending the event are encouraged to wear professional business attire and bring copies of their resumes. Remember to bring your Bronco ID for quick & easy registrations!
